With exclusive use of the vehicle and your own driver for the journey, you can explore the places that interest you most, spend longer where you wish, and experience the Lakes without being tied to the itinerary or timetable of a scheduled tour.
A private tour gives you the freedom to experience the Lake District your way. There is no fixed group to follow, no set collection of stops and no need to fit your day around somebody else’s itinerary.
Tell us what you would love to see, the places that interest you and how you would like your day to feel. Whether that means famous Lake District highlights, quieter villages, dramatic mountain scenery, time beside the lakes, or simply leaving some of the decisions to us, we will work with you to put together a day that is personal to you.
Using our knowledge of the Lake District, we will take care of the practical details behind your day. We will consider the route, travelling times, suitable stops and how best to use the time you have available, while making sure there is time to enjoy the places you have come to see.
Your itinerary does not have to be decided before you contact us either. Tell us as much or as little as you already know. If you have a list of places you absolutely want to visit, we can build around them. If you simply know the sort of Lake District experience you are looking for, leave the finer details to us.
And because the vehicle is exclusively yours, your day has far greater freedom than a scheduled tour. Where practical, there is room to spend longer somewhere you particularly enjoy, change the emphasis of the day, or adapt the journey as you explore.
Half-day and full day private tours · Up to 7 passengers
Enjoy exclusive use of your vehicle and driver throughout your tour, with the day arranged around your group rather than a fixed public itinerary.
*£35.50 per person is based on a family of six travelling on a half day private tour. Prices vary according to your requirements, group size and duration.
You don't need to have everything worked out before getting in touch. Tell us when you would like to travel, how many people will be joining us and anything you already know you would like to see or do. We can take it from there.
